Way to go Cade!

Cade received some badges tonight at Pack Meeting for Scouts. They had a fun way of getting them. The leaders put the badges in bags with a ribbon on them and then the boys had to find their name. Once the boys found their name, they had to pull the ribbon to get to the bag. They enjoyed doing it that way! It was sort of a puzzle for the boys. They had to work as a team to get them out!

Here is where Cade actually got to see the badges that he was awarded! It was pretty neat to see which ones he got!

Here is Cade's shirt with all his badges. He received two more silver Arrow Points, Conservation badge, and a Whittling Chip. In case anyone doesn't know what the Whittling Chip badges is, it is a badge the boys get after displaying that they know how to correctly use a pocket knife, and promises to use it with care. The leaders were telling the boys that not many boys get it, so it is a special one to receive! A lot of hard work was done to get these badges! I only hope that the hard work continues throughout his life!
WAY TO GO CADE! WE ARE PROUD OF YOU! WE LOVE YOU BUDDY!

Way to go Cade! I've never even heard of the Whittling Chip thing, so it must be pretty rare!

Cade is a hard workin' Scout guy. He seems to be enjoying all the hard work, too. How very exciting as a parent, no? Great job being a good scout mom, too, Jaime!
