Chocolate cake in a mug???

Tonight our boys wanted to do something for dessert and I really don't like to make big things of sweets since I am the one that is left to eat the "left-overs". My mom had found this recipe and passed it along to me and we decided to give it a try. It is really easy to make and the boys had fun stirring and mixing their own cake.

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

DIRECTIONS

1) Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

2) Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

3) Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT!
This can definitely serve two!!

Me and my sweet tooth are going to have to make this yummy dessert. It's even better that it doesn't take long to make. BTW, I love hearing from you! Thanks for leaving comments on my blog!
