Writing and Drawing

Not much has been going on in our house other than being sick for a while. We are finally towards the end of the sickness and pray there is no more. Just wanted to put our latest pictures of what we have been doing; things are the same, just keeping busy!

Here is Kyler trying real hard to write his name. I wrote it the first time, he then erased it. Since it was erased, you can still see the writing and Kyler copied it. He loves to trace things. Not bad for a three year old! Way to go Kyler!

Here is Cade's latest "project" for school. He had to read a Realistic Fiction book then make a shoebox diorama about his favorite scene. He chose to read A Boy at War; it was about Pearl Harbor. Cade had in his mind what he wanted to do in the shoebox so we (Brandon and I) "helped" Cade. This is how it turned out. Not bad mom and dad!!!! I mean Cade!

It was fun helping Cade with the diorama. Wish I could say that about his other school projects. I swear they only give these things out to punish the parents.

Dang those planes look good!

You guys did a good job. I had to "help" Keana make a pioneer cabin last month. I was pretty proud of my work, I mean her work. (:

Sometimes I think why in the heck do they even give these projects? It just makes more work for us parents. It turned out great. Good job! Hopefully he enjoyed reading the book and helping you out. I'm glad you're all feeling better.

Wow! Nice Shoe box scene! Kelsea probably wishes I was as nice as you guys. Although, I did help her with the log cabin and I printed the picture of the little girl - I'm so glad this next month is supposed to be all hand written and hand drawn - there will be no excuse for mom and dad to do anything . . . right?! I hope not :)
