Fun with the ducks

Last night, we decided to take the boys to the park to feed the ducks. When we first got there, we had a hard time finding them, but then we finally found them clear across the park. The boys had a lot of fun throwing the bread to them! After we ran out of bread, we walked around the park and found a huge hill that the boys "ran" to the top then would "run" down. That hill was so steep! I couldn't believe how the boys would run up and down like it was nothing! They sure slept good last night!

The boys are having fun throwing bread at the ducks. Kyler couldn't rip the bread into smaller pieces so he would throw in HUGE pieces of bread. He finally got the hang of it! Chase actually threw a piece at them and one landed right on the back of the duck! They got a kick out of watching it turn its head before the other ducks got it!

A few of the ducks- there was one that had purple on its wings. I tried to take a picture, but that's when he decided to spread its wings. Oh well! Turned out to be a cool picture!

This was a beautiful sunset while the fire was burning on Draper mountain. The fire started Monday afternoon and has spread quickly. It was so smokey, even the kids kept saying that. There was so much ash flying around. I took so many pictures while at the park, but the ash showed up in the pictures so it looks like big specks on the pictures. Bummer! Hope they get it under control soon!
