Well, I decided to buy one of those ice cream balls that you can make homemade ice cream in. After all day of the boys telling me that they were extremely bored, I had a great idea! "Maybe we should make ice cream in the ball!" The boys were so excited and at first had a lot of fun. The directions said you have to roll, shake, do whatever with it for about 20 minutes. (it certainly took longer than that!) The more you shake, rattle and roll with it, the better the results. After 50 long minutes, wala.....it was done! The boys were so excited and (hot) to try the ice cream! Well, trying to get it out was a challenge, but we got it. The boys gobbled it down and wanted more. Problem was that there was only enough for 3 boys (not much in their bowls) and I wanted to save some for Brandon. I only got a bite which is fine, I really don't need more than that! Anyways, moral of the story is that the boys were cured of their boredum for about an hour (and a good bonding time with the boys!)

You go girl! What a workout to get that ice- cream all creamed! Your blog is AWESOME! I had so much fun looking at pictures of your boys and "listening" to you tell about them. Your trip to Yellowstone has me really jealous---we may have to get up there next year. I mean---FROGS!! :) My kids would love it! Looks like all the cool memories were worth the 25 loads of laundry :)
I have never seen one of those ice cream balls. It is a cool idea. I love the picture of the boys rolling the ball on the blanket. Classic, you don't want it to accidently get on your carpet!:)
I wish I was as ambitious as you! I think my kids would classify me as boring. Hopefully before the summer ends, I will improve.
