ROAD RAGE!

I just thought that I would tell what happened to me this morning on my way to work-out. I was driving (as I normally do) at 6 am and came to a place where there are two lanes. I was in the far lane and there was a HUGE truck that I didn't want to get stuck behind, I don't know why, maybe because I hate being behind BIG trucks! Anyhow, I sped up (thinking that I didn't want to cause a accident with the 3 cars behind me) and got in front of the HUGE truck. Well, that was only the beginning. From my house to the place I work-out, it is about 5 miles. The HUGE truck tail gated me the WHOLE way there, honking, flashing his brights at me, and honking some more. At one point, I thought if I stopped anywhere, this pshyco would follow me! Well, that is exactly what he did! He pulled into the parking lot, sat behind my car and was waiting for me! What did this person want? I know I may have been in the wrong, but GET OVER IT!!
I understand, I pulled in front of a HUGE truck, could have caused an accident, but I was thinking of my own selfishness! Thank goodness my mom was waiting for me, she noticed what was going on and then acted like she was trying to back out. It was only then that the immature person decided to leave. I then went into the place I had intended to go in the first place, shaking, and was telling the owner there what had happened. Tricia (the owner of the place) told me I should call the police, so I did! The cop was so kind to me, to my surprise! I mean I pulled out in front of the HUGE truck for heck sake! The cop told me I was thinking of the cars behind me, so I was not in the wrong! Thank goodness for that! I did get a description of the HUGE truck other than HUGE truck to tell the cop, description of the immature person driving, but no license plate. I thought nothing is going to happen. Luckily, the side of the truck had the company name on it, and the cop is going to call the place of business and report it to them about Road Rage. The cop also told me if this were to happen again, call 911 and they will respond immediately! I know I have definitely learned from this dumb mistake- never to pull in front of a "HUGE" truck just because you don't want to travel behind it. Heck- you may cause an accident, but at least you won't have a HUGE truck harassing you!
